New Beginnings

Ok, how to start. I've never been much of a blogger but here we go.

I'll start by telling a little about us. My family consits of myself, Catherine "Huizenga" Ashmore, my wonderful husband David Ashmore, and our beautiful little girl Braelyn Elizabeth. She was born December 30, 2009. She is currently 2 months old and to us seems so advanced. She makes noises all day long, rolls over, loves to stand and is very aware of everything going on around us.

I was in the Army 4 months short of 2 years but now switched over to guard in order to stay home with Brae. I am a Military Police officer. David has been in almost 6 years, hes in the Infantry. David has deployed, he has been to Iraq, to Sauder city. He is gettin out very soon so that he can watch our princess grow up as well.
We have been together a year and 3 months now. Not very long so we are still learning alot about being married and being parents.

We are planning on living in Iowa where both of our families live. David has 5 siblings and a neice and a nephew. I have one brother, a sister-in-law, a nephew and another one on the way. We are both very family oriented. We love spending as much time as possibe with our families.

Newly married, new parents, different beleifs, and a new life with out the army. Things will be changing alot over the next few months and over the years. I will try to keep up with this as much as possible.

Keep us in your prayers as things are going to be hard, messy, and complicated.

But hey, lifes an adventure right? So here we go.
